Commstar was born with a concept to provide near real-time communication to fellow security and law enforcement professionals across the Wisconsin area. The need arose to help combat crime wave initatives in the urban areas such as Milwaukee, Appleton, Madison and Green Bay areas. We found much more to offer within devolopment of this platform. The low-cost solution can be offered to not only businesses, but to families and mission-critical entities such as hospitals, schools, public safety for supreme interoperability.  With years of experience behind us with radio equipment, I only want to bring the best performing products to the table.

I am Kevin, I have been a ham radio operator since the mid 90's and have been facinated with this equipment ever since. I have also been over 25 years strong in being a volunteer firefighter, a police officer, an EMT, and a business owner. The need to be able to communicate with changing technology is growing and the technology is only getting better. PoC radio is the future of radio communication and is already here and has been here for quite sometime. My aim is simple, provide quality communication at a low cost.
